Edge Studio: Home Studio Show & Tell

Edge Studio is having their first Home Studio Show & Tell, and I am so happy that I get to join two other voice actors in showing off our home studios. I hope that you’ll hop in, even if to lurk or even say “hello”.

I’ve never been quiet about my experience with Edge. When I first started in voiceover, I really thought I could do it on my own. After all, how hard could it be? It’s just talking and making funny sounds with my face, right?

Well, as many before me can attest, that is not the case. Training is essential. There really is no way to move forward in a serious way in this business without coaching and education, without making that investment of both time and, yes, money.

My coaches at Edge have all been awesome and encouraging, and not in a weird “give me your money” way. James Andrews, Jennifer Simms, and Jay Snyder have all helped me so, so much with honing my craft and giving me the tools to succeed, and Tom Dheere has been great with all of the marketing aid.

And a special shoutout to Susanne Pinedo, my contact person there for whenever I need to schedule coaching, book a demo, or just have a question. She is such a sweetheart and always brimming with positivity.
